Tip Tuesday - Pretties Kit

Are you wondering what happened to the Build A Brad tip - well, I received such a wonderful project that focuses on the Pretties Kit that I couldn't resist. I'll share the Build A Brad tip soon. Now on to the Pretties Kit!

The Pretties Kit has approximately:
White flowers: 50 (5 sizes, 10 each)
Halfback White pearls: 60 (30 small, 20 medium, 10 large)
Halfback Cream pearls: 60 (30 small, 20 medium, 10 large)
Round White pearls with holes: 45 (30 small, 15 large)
Round Cream pearls with holes: 45 (30 small, 15 large)
Clear beads: 40 (10 round beads with center hole, 10 round
beads with side hole, 20 tear drop beads)
Round rhinestone brads: 50 (20 small, 15 medium, 15 large)
Hat pins with clutches: 10
Crimp beads: 30

The kit is so versatile to embellish all of your works of art! The flowers are white so you can
color them to coordinate with our exclusive colors—you’ll always have the perfect color for
your project. You can use Stampin' Pastels, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, or Classic Stampin’
ink to dye the flowers. The beads, pearls, and flowers add elegance to any project, and you
can create custom hat pins using any of the pieces. I've used the Aqua Painter (see Technique Tuesday - Aqua Painter on how to use this product) and Stampin' ink refills for an easy way to "dye" the flowers the color you want.

I just absolutely love THE SNOW SWIRLED SET! I am ready to start kicking off some of my Christmas ideas, so you get to see first hand what I'm playing around with!!! Hope you enjoy it !

Stampin' Up! Supplies used :

Stamp set : Snow Swirled set

Card stock used : Pacific Point (in-color) & Whisper White (neutrals)

Ink : Pacific Point classic pad, Kiwi Kiss classic pad, Tempting Turquiose classic pad (Bold Brights).

Accessories : Pretties Kit, Dazzling Diamonds, Glue pen, Snail adhesive, Crop-adile, Fresh Favs ll eyelets, 1 1/4" circle punch, corner rounder punch, hemp twine.

Those faux 1/2 pearls from the Pretties Kit really make the snow flakes POP !! My sister-in-law, Wendy, used the pearls last year on her card and it just really gives the snow flakes a lil' something!! So I want to thank her for the "inspiration"!! The Dazzling Diamonds glitter helps pop out some of the swirls on the tree, along with highlighting them with another color ! I can't wait to see your Christmas creationz !!!! Dazzling Diamonds and a little Pacific Point stamping contrast really make this swirly tree stand out!

How many designs do you go through, before you make that "perfect" card. I know I play around with so many designs and variations, boy, you should see all the cards I have, that you don't see!!!
