Diva Inspiration Challenge #14
Got Blue?! Seems to be the theme for today's Inspiration Challenge. This big ball of blue comes from Blog@NanoVic Nanotechnology Blog. This image was taken using a scanning electron microscope. I can't even begin to understand how tiny this "flower" actually is, but boy is it pretty!
My sample for this week's challenge is not so tiny. I chose to go with the different shades of blue and layer the hues on different sized snowflakes on glossy card stock to form my background. I then layered vellum card stock on top of my new background to soften it up. To stay with the winter theme, I embossed in silver embossing powder the tree from Snow Swirled and then added silver brads to the tree and the four corners. I added a rhinestone brad to the top of the tree, as well as to the Season's Greetings sentiment. And speaking of the sentiment, I punched out the Season's Greetings with the Wide Oval Punch and stuck it on the front side of the vellum paper. I then used the 1- 3/4" Circle Punch to punch out a Pacific Point circle and glued it to the back of the vellum paper behind the sentiment.
Stamps: Snow Swirled

Ink: Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, Pacific Point, VersaMark
