Today's projects come from Christine Rebbert from Elkridge, Maryland. She made these little stocking stuffers for a local craft fair recently, and at $1.00 apiece, they sold very well! They are "wrappers" for Tic-Tac mints, and she made them with card stocks of Real Red, Glorious Green (reversing background and accents on these for 2 different versions), and Brilliant Blue with Bashful Blue for a Hannukah alternative. The stamp set used was the Hostess set "Deer Friends".
Cut card stock 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". With the 3-1/2" side horizontal, score at 1-1/2" and 2"; fold in to create tiny "book" shape. Use 1" circle punch on front for Tic-Tacs to show through. Stamp image and punch out with 1-1/4" circle punch, then layer on Square Scallop punched cardstock. Apply SNAIL to insides of "book" and adhere to Tic-Tac container.
You can kick it up a notch by adhering 1/4" grosgrain ribbon horizontally inside the "book" with a few extra inches on each side; then tie to make a
bow. Experiment with other colors and focal points for other holidays and occasions through the year, too -- baby and wedding showers, Easter, etc.
