Creative Things in Target

Have you ever browsed the Target $1.00 aisle and came across a product that you know with a bit of stamping it would be a treasure? One of our Diva Designers, Adriana Benitez, did just that. She found chipboard coasters in one of the bins and went from there. She loves Stampin' Up!'s "Circle of Friendship" stamp set and uses the center part of the stamps on their own all the time. The sayings fit perfectly in Stampin' Up!'s Build-a-brads, too! She covered the coasters with Stampin' Up!'s Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper. They are connected with Antique Brass jumbo eyelets and build-a-brads. The flowers are made from our Flower Fusion and held together with a rhinestone brad from Stampin' Up!'s Rhinestone Ice Circle Brads. The sentiment in the center is actually a rub-on from the Anchored set on page 182 of the Spring-Summer Collection Catalog. She then finished the whole project with Always Artichoke ribbon. She commented that she believes she is a ribbon addict ... she always have to have at least one piece on each project! She loves it so much, she's going to hang this coaster project in her craft room!

Great project Adriana! I love that you found something in a store and with paper, ink and stamp you were able to create such a fun and cute project. Thank you for sharing this project with us. We greatly appreciate it!
